How to make the most of your trip?

If you're a first-time attendee or looking to maximize your Chicago Auto Show experience, we've got some tips for you.

•    Dress Comfortably

Wear shoes that help you stay on your feet all day and clothes that make it easy to get in and out of cars (if you plan to).

•    Go to Weekday

If you are flexible, you should go Monday through Thursday. Not only are there fewer people on weekdays, but some local dealerships may offer discounted admission.

•    Give Back, Receive Rewards

Bring three cans of food on February 15, 16, or 17 and receive $5 off an adult ticket. All food boxes are donated to A Safe Haven to benefit Chicago's homeless.

•    Check the Map

Before the event, the Chicago Auto Show often distributes a map of the showroom floor, so plan your trip accordingly.

•    Take Rest

Your passion for automobiles may be serious, but this annual event is designed to be fun. Educate yourself as much as possible in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises during your trip, and make sure you have enough time to see everything you want to.
